Welcome to our organisation!


Here are Epworth Street Association's Aims:



  • Improve security on Epworth Street by encouraging people to report litter; vandalism and graffiti; people using or dealing drugs; people being drunk or rowdy and people fly-tipping.


  • The group will seek to liaise with local authorities and support groups to bring in available resources and advice.

      • Publicise all the relevant channels for reporting nuisance,  antisocial behaviour and crime.
      • Create an anonymous neighbourhood watch drop off box, physical & digital with the aim of encouraging people to report problem behaviour.
      • Apply for funding to have CCTV installed


    • Improve amenity on Epworth Street by making applications for funding.


      • Liaise with the local authority to increase litter collection and maintenance of Sculcoates Park.
      • Apply for a starter grant from the cvs.
      • The group will research other areas of funding such as the visual amenity fund.



    • Research the history of the neighbourhood and the history of Beverley Road Baths.


      Membership

      The members of the committee are elected each year at the AGM.

      Residents can join the Association by paying an annual subscription fee of only £5, which is collected by members of the Committee.

      Meetings

      Meetings are held every 3 months, issues in the area are discussed and views put forward. Minutes of our meetings are available on request, along with notice and agenda for the next meeting.
